The T-SAT is a unique navigation monitor matrix that also allows extremely unique control throughout the vessel. We worked with engineers from Hatteland and Crestron to put together this new system. UMSI president James Porreca commented: “There is so much capability out there with today’s technology that is not being tapped into.
It also allows users to monitor and control the light, HVAC, AV and blind/shade systems throughout the vessel, so it can be used by guests. Management of access to the systems on a monitor-to-monitor basis is available for security. It is powered by the Crestron DVPHD and DGE-2 digital graphics engine and allows monitoring of radar, sonar, sounder, plotting systems, vessel monitoring systems, and entertainment systems, among others. The T-SAT system, which is IMO compliant and runs through a single CAT5 cable, is able to display up to 64 separate HD video sources simultaneously on monitors across the entire vessel. The Touch-Screen Automation Technology (T-SAT) video distribution system will be on display at the company’s booth, 684A, in the Yacht Builders Tent at the show 25–29 October.
